Worship

We are a lively church with a heart to engage with Father Jesus and Holy Spirit.

What is worship?

Worship is our Heart response to Father, Jesus & Holy Spirit; it is the interchange between heaven and earth.

What is the worship team there for?

As worship team, we are to stand before the face of the Father, adore the Son and move in intimacy with Holy Spirit and help the body of Christ in St. Luke’s to do the same. It is in this place of intimacy that we are changed and transformed and, in being changed and transformed into His likeness, we can change our families and community.

Our vision statement

We desire to worship God, Father Son and Holy Spirit, in spirit and in truth. We long to see a full release of the creativity of heaven expressed on earth.

In order to fulfill our vision, we look for team members who:

  • are sensitive to the moving of Holy Spirit
  • are servant hearted; aiming to serve God, each other and the body of St Luke’s
  • show perseverance and enthusiasm
  • are ready, willing and able to work as part of a team
  • are committed, and willing to submit, to Leadership
  • have a teachable spirit and are prepared to be vulnerable and take risks
  • are self-motivated and committed to continual learning.

If you are a member of St. Luke’s and are interested in finding out more about joining the worship team, please contact us for more information.

From the moment we are born, we need a family, we need to belong in a community of people.
